I am a bit 'worried about myself.
I find to share a thought with Vittorio Sgarbi about his opinion on the opening of the Venice Biennale to the movies with homosexual themes for which you plan to set up a special award [sic].
Sgarbi argues that "... instituting an award for cinematography gay is a limitation of freedom, indeed the very end of freedom, gay, ghetto type considered" . How to blame him?
Assuming that there are already some reviews representative including a rather important that for twenty years takes place in my city (Turin), I do not see how it is possible that someone like Grillini that it will be "joyful" faced with a choice of this kind. I could obviously only be happy if one of the films in competition at the Film Festival which takes place more representative in Italy, it includes some which speaks of the love between two men, two women, two transgender, and maybe a of these wins, but from here to want to establish a special prize for the best gay-themed film , I think its a clear sign that some people feel the need to affix their labels on anything, including a certain kind of cinema, really stretching "Ghetto" whole categories of people.
Why do not you ever thought of setting up awards for best film straight for the best film on hydraulic , climbers on Everest or on pastors of Barbagia ??
But what will never be blathering Grillini when he argues that this openness tends to "... promote the gay presence in Italy? We gays are we not able to enhance our presence alone?
There are so many priority issues to deal with than to rejoice in this clear and further "split" seems to me a privilege to be welcomed triumphantly impossible even for an idiot.
I regret to note that people like Mr. Honorary President Arcigay Grillini have nothing more important to do than to take the language to increase the air gap, tending to emphasize differences and diversity that have never had, and today less than ever, reason to exist .
I believe the objective was diametrically opposed and personally rejoice when gays have finally obtained the rights vested in them.
Not today. Today I feel like part of a new ... spectacular minority.
